  1. "I'm a night owl, always up way too late. I was getting ready for bed around 2 A.M. when I looked out the window and saw how foggy it was. I love shooting in the fog, and it doesn't get foggy here all that often, so I figured I should take advantage even though I was pretty tired. The only camera I had loaded was the Kinoflex, a Holga-type focus-free toy camera from the 1960s. I walked around the neighborhood in the cold--it was really cold--with the camera on a tripod. The exposures were all around 30 seconds, and since the camera has no cable release socket I had to hold down the shutter button manually for 30 seconds each time. Holding down the shutter like that for each photo really made me appreciate the whole process of shooting film. No instant gratification, no LCD screen--just me, the fog and the silence. For me the photo really captures that feeling of standing there totally alone waiting for the seconds to tick off. Thirty seconds is a lot longer than you think when you're keeping your hand as steady as possible on the shutter button." . . . #analogphotomag #35mm #35mmfilm #analogphotography #filmcommunity #filmisnotdead #instafilm #filmstagram #believeinfilm #analog #filmfeed #analogue #colorfilm #ishootfilm #film #filmphotography #filmcamera #filmfeed #kinoflex #toycamera #fog #streetlights
