  1. Prostatic artery embolization for enlarged prostate reduces nocturia An innovative interventional radiology treatment, prostatic artery embolization (PAE), has been shown to reduce nocturia in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and lower urinary tract symptoms — decreasing the number of episodes they wake up to urinate, according to research being presented at SIR 2016. Researchers found that the majority of men who underwent PAE also reported an overall better quality of life. “Nocturia significantly disrupts the lives of men and diminishes quality of life due to lack of sleep caused by frequent urges to urinate multiple times a night,” said the study’s lead researcher and an interventional radiologist. “The results from our research show that prostatic artery embolization can effectively help these men live a more normal life. Additionally, PAE is less invasive compared to other treatment options and is performed on an outpatient basis, allowing many patients to go home the same day.” #PAE #Prostate #artery #embolization #irad #interventionalradiology #prostatehealth #menshealth #prostateproblems #prostateissues #prostatescreening #healthyprostate #prostatecancer #prostatehealthawareness #benignprostatichyperplasia #prostate #prostateawarenes s#prostatecancerawareness #prostatehealth #prostateexam #prostateissues #prostatemassage #prostate #prostatecancer #psa #prostatitis #erection #sexualpotency #health #withoutascalpel #withoutsurgery #maroc #morocco #casablanca
