Don't you just love it when you have no idea what to make for dinner but find all the ingredients to throw something delicious together? 💁🏽 tonight's dinner was chicken and chorizo with dry roasted butternut squash and a simple salad. For the chicken and chorizo I fried off some chicken breast, red onion, mushrooms and green peppers, chorizo and garlic, I added 1 carton of pasata, chopped cherry tomatoes, some chicken stock, mixed herbs, salt, pepper and chilli powder and left it to dinner until the sauce went thick and glossy.   1. The salad of the week again! Do you... like these food ideas/suggestions/inspiration? Obviously I'm aware it has nothing to do with my work, but food is such a big and fun part of my life, so I have a hard time not sharing these... Anyway, let me know?! ☺️ .   1. "I'd give up carbs, but I'm not a quitter." Best shirt I've ever seen & will be adding it to my wardrobe soon. I do Pilates everyday, so I can eat pasta (almost) everyday. Pasta is MY thang. Toss in a few veggies and maybe some grilled chicken and you have my heart. 💙 My husband could live on steak, so typically when we go out on dates, we pick a steakhouse. You will always find me drooling over the spaghetti on the kids menu or choosing the lobster mac ... Because pasta! 🍜

  1. Chili con carne Ingrediënten: 1 eetl olijfolie 3 teentjes knoflook, fijn gesneden 1 ui, gesnipperd 1 zoete punt paprika, in blokjes 500 gr mager gehakt 1-2 theel cayennepeper 2 theel paprikapoeder 1,5 theel komijnpoeder 1 theel uienpoeder 1 bouillonblokje, rund 0,5 theel suiker 3 eetl tomatenpuree 1 blik tomatenblokjes, 420 gr 2 blikjes kidneybonen, á 420 gr uitgelekt peper en zout naar smaak Verhit op middelmatig vuur de olie in een koekenpan en fruit het uitje en de knoflook, voeg daarna de paprika toe en fruit deze even mee. Draai het vuur hoger en rul het gehakt bijna gaar. Voeg de cayennepeper, komijn, paprikapoeder en uienpoeder toe en rul de gahakt helemaal  gaar. Voeg de rest van de ingrediënten erdoor en breng op smaak met peper en zout. Laat alles, onder af en toe goed roeren, 20 min. zachtjes pruttelen. Serveer met rijst en zure room.
